She thanks him twice for the hotdog he is ordering for her. It is said a little too politely and \u00a0well before the usual rhythm of these things leads to the moment of &#8220;who pays?&#8221; and the\u00a0spontaneous \u00a0gesture of &#8220;&#8216;I got this.&#8221;\u00a0This was a premeditated invitation to lunch.<\/p>\n<p>They talk comfortably about getting ready for a meeting for awhile then he awkwardly \u00a0turns the conversation to weekend plans. She quickly fills it up with abundant strenuous young-people activities. \u00a0He moves closer to her. Before he can say anything, she offers to wait for the hot dogs so he can go back to the office and get ready for the &#8220;meeting&#8221;. He doesn\u2019t like that idea. There is an awkward silence. A live street performer is playing music in the background.<\/p>\n<p>She says \u201ddo you recognize this song?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He says \u201cno\u201d<br \/>\nIntern \u201cIt\u2019s Three Doors Down!\u201d<br \/>\nMan in suite \u201cI know where its coming from but I don\u2019t know who it is\u201d<br \/>\nI almost breakout in laughter but I\u2019m able to snort my way out of it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I\u2019m at the Westlake Center in Seattle outdoors at the hotdog stand(I know I should be eating better than this).
